What is the project :
Bipolar is a project that has been sitting with me for years. Growing up I was always surrounded by music, a mix of UK pop and rock, American grunge, then later falling in love with blues and soul. At the same time, growing up in Berlin, I was listening to German trap, hip hop and techno. All of it shaped how I hear and feel music, but it also made it harder to fit neatly into one category.
So instead of trying to be one thing, I decided to stop forcing it and create my own. Bipolar is me leaning into everything I love, fusing genres and sounds without worrying if it fits a traditional box or not. It is not about being polished into a product, it is about being honest in what I make and how I express it.
The project itself is built in two sides, like a vinyl or however you want to picture it. One side is fully analogue, starting with just piano and vocals and slowly building into full live band recordings, featuring incredible musicians including my band HollowKid. The other side is fully produced by me, creating beats and blending my influences into something personal, with cheeky but honest lyrics running through it.
