So there is Sidney in Germany and there is Sidney now, but let’s start at the beginning. It began with piano lessons at the age of four and Metallica on the sofa, which slowly turned into music camps, writing her own songs and eventually releasing her first EP Sixxteen during her teenage years. At that time, music was more than just a hobby. While struggling with her mental wellbeing, she found a sense of stability and expression through creating. She built confidence by taking part in projects like the Dave Grohl project, covering Play within two days alongside other young musicians, as well as production camps by Steinberg at The Lindenpark in Potsdam. This is where she began shaping her sound and understanding her direction.
During her A levels in Germany, she worked closely with a German producer and stepped further into live performance, moving into a more pop driven space on stages in and around Berlin. One of those moments included supporting Tim Bendzko at the Stadtwerke Fest, performing alongside the NNF Dance Company.
As things often go, not every chapter is meant to last forever. And so a new one began, one that had to start in London.
London here she comes
London is where things got real. SHE came here to study and dO A songwriting diploma at ICMP, worked with an independent label doing bits of management, events and behind the scenes graft. But if anything, that just made it clear to HER, SHE AIN`T meant to stay in the background. SIDNEY IS a performer, through and through.

SID started hitting every open mic and jam session SHE could find recording ideas and getting braver with HER sound really leaning into HER weird energy and building something that actually feels authentic
Moving from Berlin to London forced HER to look at HERself properly stripped of HER circle, family AND HER comfort SHE had to figure out who SHE IS ON HER own.

Bipolar is a biography of my time in London documenting the journey I am on as an artist and as a person
During the creation of this project I also founded a collective and began curating my own event series building a space for independent artists to connect and perform
Along the way you will hear collaborations with my band HollowKid as well as other musicians I have met and created with during my time here

Sidney is currently performing across London both as a solo artist and with her band HollowKid
Alongside producing her own music and coaching artists she is developing her first vocal sample pack set to be released after the final single of the Bipolar project in August 2026
